Routine, purpose and a pathway
Education, training & employment engagement
Education and work do more for stability than almost anything else we do. We treat attendance as a shared responsibility, not something left to the young person alone.
Discuss a referralGetting in, and staying in
We support enrolment, transport, uniform, IT access and attendance routines, and speak with colleges and training providers when things slip.
Building a realistic pathway
Career conversations start early and are reviewed each term, including English language and functional skills where needed.
Celebrating progress
Achievements, however small, are recognised within the home. Progress is reported to the placing authority so it is visible to the people who need to see it.
What this includes
- Support with college, apprenticeship and training applications
- Attendance monitoring and follow-up
- English language and functional skills support
- Employability coaching: CVs, interviews and workplace expectations
Every young person is different
Support hours, staffing and expectations are set around the individual, then reviewed with the placing authority rather than assumed.
