Awareness, boundaries and safer choices
Improved safety & decision-making
Many of the young people we support have learned to survive rather than to plan. Our work is to help them recognise risk early and choose differently, without shame.
Discuss a referralTeaching the thinking, not just the rules
Sessions on exploitation, online safety, healthy relationships and substance use are delivered in small, practical conversations, revisited regularly and adapted to language and understanding.
Consistent boundaries
House expectations are few, clear and applied by every member of staff. Young people know what happens when something goes wrong, and why.
Risk management that keeps moving
Risk assessments are reviewed at least monthly, and immediately after any significant incident, with actions allocated and followed up.
What this includes
- Individual risk assessment, reviewed monthly
- Contextual safeguarding and exploitation awareness
- Out-of-hours response with immediate escalation
- Multi-agency attendance at strategy and review meetings
Every young person is different
Support hours, staffing and expectations are set around the individual, then reviewed with the placing authority rather than assumed.
